It was such an honour to be the guest speaker at this year's Eyes on the future gala dinner which was held at in the prestigious Sheraton grand ballroom park lane London. Before I took to the stage the audience fell silent as they watched the short video Meta created telling my story and how I use social media to support people around the world through my poetry. When the wonderful James Hasler aka The man in the red coat said the words "Ladies and gentlemen The Blind Poet" you could hear a pin drop. Take a listen to this video of me reading 2 poems back to back. The Secret and The Stranger are two poems I have loved reciting but this was the first time I've read them as one. The response speaks for itself.
